v2.01September 13, 2026
New name, new website, and the Garage tab
A big month. The game has a new name, a new website, a much bigger dashboard, a rebuilt power model, and a long list of racing fixes. Here is everything, in player terms.
New name, new look
- Nitto 1320 Legends is now 1320 Legends V2. New chrome logo, new helmet emblem, and the purple neon theme carried through the website, the dashboard, the tuner and the raffle page.
- New website at nittolegends.com: live leaderboards and the weekly challenge straight from the game, a separate Store page, and a Log in button that takes you to your dashboard. The whole site works on phones.
- Leaderboards on the site refresh themselves every ten minutes, and again when you come back to the tab.
- Anti-Cheat & Game Client Agreement. A plain-language page explaining exactly what the game's anti-cheat checks, what it collects, what it never touches (your files, your screen, your keystrokes), how long we keep it, and that none of it is ever sold. Linked from the Terms, the Privacy Policy, and next to every download button.
- Three languages. English, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil), on the website, the dashboard and the weekly challenge page. Pick one at the top-left corner; the page reloads in that language and remembers your choice.
- Patch notes live on the site at /patch-notes/, and the newest release shows on the home page right under the weekly challenge.
- The weekly challenge page and the staff panels moved to the same violet theme as the site.
- Support is on the Discord. The support email is gone from the site; every "contact us" link points at the Discord.
Dashboard
Garage tab (new)
- Arrange your slots. See every car in slot order with its plate, colour, live HP/TQ and your average ET in that car (with best ET and run count). Members can drag cars up and down to reorder the garage; the game reloads your car list the moment you save. Everyone can view the tab.
- Change your plate from the dashboard, one box per plate segment with a live preview, at the same price as the in-game plate shop.
- Ratio Manager and Car Colors now live inside the Garage tab as sub-tabs. Ratio applies cost $125 or 25 points, same as the gear shop, and are free for members. Car Colors is a member perk, and a repaint now paints the whole car, bumpers and spoilers included, not just the shell.
User Settings tab (new)
- Change your username for 1,000 points.
- Change your password without opening the game.
- Convert cash to points at $250 = 1 point.
- Buy up to five permanent parking slots (500, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, 2,500 points). They are yours for good and move with you when you change city.
My Races tab (new)
- Your full race history from your seat: lights, ETs, trap speeds, opponents and outcomes, for head-to-head and tournament races.
- Fouled lights show an estimate. The game wipes a red light before it reaches the server, so the server now reconstructs it from your launch and shows it as "~0.4xx", clearly marked as an estimate.
General
- Every confirm box on the dashboard is now an in-page dialog, so spends and irreversible actions work on phones and in-app browsers.
- Login cooldowns now tell you how long to wait.
- Balance changes made on the dashboard push to your open game instantly.
Username rules
- New names must use letters, numbers, underscores and periods only, contain at least one letter (no numbers-only names), and pass a profanity check that sees through leetspeak and separators. Existing names are not affected.
Tuner Workshop (members)
- Saved builds. Name a setup, recall it, build it onto a car in one click, or list it on the Tuner Market. Builds buy the engine they call for, pay a 7.5% build fee, and respect your home city's shop.
- Build sheet by city, so you can see what is available where.
- Driver notes on saved and listed builds, visible to the buyer.
- Forced induction now follows the game's system rule, saved builds obey fitment rules, the shop's swap engines appear in the sandbox as what-ifs, and a parts-only save can be listed with "no ratios" shown in red.
- The dyno result panel follows you down the parts list, and dialogs no longer jump the page around.
Garage and parking
- New parking slots per city: Toreno 1, Newburge 3, Creek Side 7, Vista Heights 14, Diamond Point 25. Members get double.
- Anyone who was already over their new limit is pardoned: nothing was impounded retroactively.
- Point purchases at the dealer no longer bypass the garage limit.
- The Account screen explains the half-number of spaces members with an odd count of bought slots may see.
- Scion FR-S Race Edition is a spec car like the other trophy cars: only nitrous, traction control, gauges, a boost controller, wheels, tires and panel graphics go on it, and its engine keeps its race parts.
Racing
Tournaments
- One shared tournament lobby so entrants can see and talk to each other; the lobby now lives in the Spectator Arena.
- Live race telemetry: racers see each other, spectators see the race, reaction times reach everyone.
- Brackets run one match at a time, the dial handicap is respected, re-qualifying no longer keeps your first dial (so clean runs stop reporting as breakouts), and leaving a tournament no longer leaves you receiving its traffic or racking up DNS.
- Winner names and street cred show correctly on the race screen.
- A server restart no longer starts a tournament by itself.
- Bracket races are enabled.
Wagers
- Cash wagers are escrowed from the moment both racers commit until the race settles. The loser's cash can no longer bounce, and the team-vault duplication is closed.
Badges
- Foul badge ladder: Foul Peasant, Foul Jester, Foul Knight, Foul King, Foul Emperor, at 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 red lights.
- The Flawless bonus pays once, not on every flawless race.
Power and tuning
- HP and TQ rebuilt across the whole fleet. Every car was re-dynoed against the game's own readouts, engine ceilings were normalised, and forced-induction delivery and fuel flow were rebalanced. Two engines changed character: the 300ZX's VG30 is now a factory turbo and the Triton is a factory supercharged engine, with stock parts refitted to match.
- Gear ratio and dyno readouts on the dashboard and tuner now match the numbers you see in the game to the digit.
- Cosmetics no longer change your dyno. A stock car with an aftermarket bumper, lights, rims, tires or graphics now dynos exactly like a bone-stock one; only real performance parts move the number.
- Engines corrected across the fleet. Every car now runs the engine assigned to its model, with the corrected names and figures. A handful of cars that were on an engine their model never came with (some Furais and Civic Type Rs on a K24A2) were moved to the proper engine, ratios kept, and the old engine left in the spare bin.
- Dyno room fix. Adjusting boost or air/fuel with a boost controller or Full Engine Management installed no longer pops a "No Controller" alert after every change. The setting was saving all along; the message was wrong. On a supercharged car the boost slider's 0 now sits at the 1 PSI floor instead of being refused as invalid.
Store and shops
- Custom Graphics store: full graphics packs are $10,000 or 250 points; individual panels are $2,500 or 60 points.
- OEM rims are now the right ones for your car: the OEM category shows the wheel set your car came with, at $5,000 or 100 points. During events they can be opened up to every car.
- Some rims are points-only.
- Custom uploaded graphics (your own designs) are points only: 200 points each.
- Two new full graphics packs in the store: Royal Purple and Tire Buyer.
- Rim prices updated across the wheel shop.
Used Car Lot
- Browsing the Used Car Lot no longer freezes the server for everyone else.
- Trades: offers were mapped backwards in some cases and a declined trade could error; both fixed.
- A sold car carries the parts bolted to it, whoever owns the listing.
Messenger (NIM)
- See where your buddies are. Under a buddy's name the messenger now shows their lobby ("H2H KOTH: Fast Boys", "BK KOTH: …", Newbie Rivals, Team Rivals, CPU Tournament), the practice track once a run starts, the used car lot, the dealership, the parts, wheel, gear and repair shops, the garage, team HQ or the mailbox, and Main Strip when they are between screens. It used to show a bare number.
- Who sees what: moderators and above see everything. Members see racing lobbies only. Without a membership the location line stays blank.
Teams
- The team rivals lobby no longer stalls for 15–20 seconds on refresh.
- Team total funds show to all viewers, and application comments can no longer crash the client.
Stability
- Anti-cheat reports no longer flood the server. Repeated sightings of the same program on the same machine are collapsed, which removes the periodic freezes some sessions saw.
- News Room posts with unusual characters can no longer crash the client.
- Planned downtime shows on the login screen. When the game is paused for an update, the login tells you why and when we expect to be back instead of failing silently.
The V2 switch-over (September 13, 2026)
The game was paused for the update. When it came back:
- Every car went back to OEM parts. Anything installed that was not OEM moved to your spare parts, nothing was deleted, so you can refit what you want. 20,375 parts moved across 1,859 cars, every one checked against the pre-update backup. Engine swaps, custom graphics and external appearance parts (body kits, lights, wheels and tires) stay on the car.
- Used Car Lot listings came home. Every listed car went back to the poster's garage. Nobody was charged.
- The Tuner Market and saved tunes were cleared. Listings, shares, purchased tune snapshots and saved setups were all removed, because none of them work under the rebuilt power model. Ratios already applied to your cars were left as they are.
